What I build

I build what replaces an app, inside your store.

The feature your customers use stays, built with Shopify's own tools. The app's monthly bill and extra code come out, and I measure the page before and after.

I measure every build's effect on page speed before I hand it over.

Builds you can open and try

Replaces a review app's widget

Performance Lab

Review display

Your review app keeps collecting and moderating. Your theme shows the stars and the reviews.

The trade-off

New reviews show up after the next sync. The store decides how often it runs: hourly, daily or weekly. Photo and video reviews I can build in, quoted separately.

Replaces a store locator app

Performance Lab

Store locator

Your locations live in Shopify, and the page loads no vendor widget.

The trade-off

Locations are edited in the Shopify admin. If your team wants its own editing screen, I can build one, quoted separately.

Replaces a bundle app

Performance Lab

Bundle discounts

Shopify itself works out the bundle price, so no app code runs in the shopper's browser.

The trade-off

I set up your bundle rules as part of the build. New rules, or a screen your team uses to change them, I can build too, quoted separately. Custom Functions need Shopify Plus.

Replaces a page builder app

Page builder pages

Pages made in a page builder app, rebuilt as sections your team edits in the theme editor. On one store I worked on, the page builder came out along with two other apps.

The trade-off

Your team builds new pages from the sections I make. A section you need that isn't there yet, I can build, quoted separately.

Your app

An app that isn't on this page

Tell me what the app does for your store. On a free call, I'll tell you whether Shopify's own tools can do the same job and how I'd build it. That includes product configurators, tiered and volume pricing, cart rules and checkout features.

The trade-off

Some larger builds run inside Shopify's checkout and need Shopify Plus. Your quote says if yours does.

How a build is quoted ↓

Apps whose value is their network, like email and SMS or loyalty, stay.

How a build is quoted

You know the price before any work starts.

01 · Call

You tell me what it has to do.

A free 30-minute call. You describe the job the app does now, and I tell you how I'd build it in your store.

02 · Quote

I send a quote within 4 hours of the call.

If I ask you for something on the call, the 4 hours start when it arrives. The quote is one page: what I'll build, what it replaces, the trade-off, the timeline and a fixed price. To go ahead, you reply "accepted".

03 · Build

I build it. You decide when it goes live.

The weeks in your quote start once the first invoice is paid, I have access to your store and you've agreed the build details with me. The work arrives on an unpublished copy of your theme, or installed on your store but not yet switched on.

Every build is priced in a fixed quote for your store. The call is free.

Architectural Overhaul

Replacing several apps?

When several apps come out together, I replace them as one project, with one quote and one timeline. The quote comes the same way, after the same free 30-minute call.

Price, fixed in your quote

$5,000–$15,000+

Timeline

3–6 weeks

Tell me what you want built.

Fill in a short form, then pick a time for the call. Your quote follows within 4 hours of the call, or of anything I ask you for on it.
